COMMENTS: After a lonely year deep in the interior of Bahia in Canal de Irece, I followed PCV Rich Davis in Santo Amaro, and knew Dan Johnson, Art and Branda Powers, and Charles Fortin. During my brief year in Santo Amaro, I continued the work of previous volunteers in advancing the construction of the Sacramento Community Center, working with CARITAS, SETRABES, Mayor Genebaldo, Seu Antonio Pedrera, and the unforgettable Irmã Maria de São Pedro.
