I finally located a picture of my last training program in Campina Grande, Paraíba and I thought you might be interested in posting it.
Unfortunately I do not remember all the names and did not keep a roster of all the trainees. It was mainly a Health Program,
including Physical Therapists and nurses, for Paraíba and Pernambuco.
As Programming & Training Officer for Peace Corps Northeast I planned the training and hired the staff.
- Luiz Lima was the Training Director for that program and his wife, Bila, was a language teacher.
- Maureen Gomez was the Peace Corps nurse and also helped in training.
- Linda was a nurse volunteer in Alagoas and Pernambuco and served as a technical trainer
- Dick Goughnor was the Program Administrator
- Myrtes do Valle was the Language Coordinator
- Nazaré (Naza) dos Santos was a language teacher
- Uberacy had just been hired to replace me as AAPCD (Assistant Area Peace Corps Director)
