Passing of Walkiria Nunes de Sena
I am very sad to send this news but figure someone should. Walkiria passed away in Bahia on April 6, 2009. She had a stoke in February and people were hopeful of a recovery so her passing surprised a number of people. Walkiria was a trainer and mentor to many, many newly arrived volunteers in the '70's and was always kind, generous, and completely open when it came to speaking her mind. I am certain she will be missed sorely by all who knew her.
