Mr. Adler was born March 5, 1945 in Ft. Devens, Massachusetts. He received his B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965. He studied law for one year at Harvard School of Law. He has worked in a dormitory cafeteria and shipping room and as an AFS chaperone. Mr. Adler spent a year in England and traveled through Europe. His hobbies and special interests include photography and pop culture.

Wayne Bjorlie Peace Corps Brazil 1967

WAYNE EUGENE BJORLIE
Pekin, North Dakota

Mr. Bjorlie was born February 19, 1945 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He received his B.A. in Economics from North Dakota State University in 1966. He worked with the Farmers Union International Assistance Corp. as interpreter on an AID/West Africa co-op project, and with the YMCA in Santiago, Chile. Mr. Bjorlie has traveled in Guatemala, Peru, Colombia and Chile. His hobbies and special interests include stamp collecting and foreign languages.

Mr. Byrne was born February 11, 1945, in New York City. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Holy Cross College in 1967. He has worked as a swimming instructor, waiter, garbage man, entertainer, and in a stable and horse farm. Mr. Byrne has traveled in Canada and the Bahamas. His hobbies and special interests include swimming; water/snow skiing, music and horses.

Mr. Cardwell was born September 25, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his B.Arch. from Tulane University in 1967. He has done architectural designing end drafting and structural steel fabrication .Mr. Cardwell’s travel has included tripe from the East to the West Coast in the U.S. to trips to Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. His hobbies end special interests include drawing, photography, vernacular archi­tecture, architectural restoration and preservation, and science fiction.

RALPH JOSIAH COBURN

Mr. Coburn was born Aug. 22, 1944 in Binghamton, N.Y. He received his B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1967. He has worked in a summer day camp and helped with a co-op in Mississippi. He has also worked abroad in Spain, France, and Peru. Mr. Coburn has traveled in Europe and South America, His hobbies and special interests include photography.

Mr. Dirhan spent one year in Lima, Peru, and has traveled extensively in Latin America. He is interested in music.

Mr. Doyle baa traveled in Cuba. Brazil. Panama, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, and Uruguay. His hobbies and special interests include ice hockey and volleyball.

Miss Earich was born December 28, 1945 in Coshocton, Ohio. She received her B.A. in Sociology from California State College in 1967. She has worked as a secretary, door-to-door saleswoman, clerk in a department store, and a student aid in the sociology department while in college. She has traveled in the U.S. and in Canada. Her hobbies and special interests include sewing, arts and crafts, and work with children.

Miss Fullerton was born July 11, 1940. She received her A.A. in Liberal Arts from Grange Coast College in 1966. She has worked as a statistical typist, with credit life insurance, and in a junior college in admissions and records. Her hobbies and special interests include swimming and horses.

Mr. Carver was born on March 24, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts. He majored in English at California State College at Los Angeles and at Stanford University. He has traveled in Mexico and his special interests are languages and music.  

BERNARD JOSEPH (BRYAN) GLYNN, JR.  
Baltimore, Maryland

Mr. Glynn was born on June 10, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. He majored in Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. He spent two summers as a design assistant for Baltimore Gas and Electric. He has also worked three years in radio programming in the areas of news and advertising.  

John Goddard Peace Corps Brazil

Cylinder, Iowa

Mr. Goddard was born June 19, 1944 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He received a B.A. in Spanish in 1966. He has studied at the University of Iowa, University of the Americas, and Ohio State University. He has taught Spanish as a graduate teaching assistant and also has held jobs in a factory, a railroad company and the U.S. Government. He has traveled and studied in Mexico. Besides liking to travel, Mr. Goddard plays handball and other sports and enjoys music.

Mr. Golde was born on December 18, 1945 in Glens Falls, New York. He received a B. A. in Latin American Studies at Hobart College in 1967. He has spent his last five years working in a store. Mr. Golde has traveled extensively in the U.S., in parts of Canada, and through much of northern Europe. He likes hunting, mountain climbing, sports and chess.

Mr. Jaworsky was born on August 31, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He studied at Oakland University, where he received a B.A. in Business Administration-Economics in 1967. He has worked in an auto factory and in grounds maintenance. He has traveled throughout most of the U. S. and has been to Korea, Japan, Okinawa and Canada. Special interests include reading, folk music and motorcycling.

Carl was born in Jamestown, New York on November 3, 1945. He received a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University in 1967. He has worked as a milling machine operator and truck driver. His travel experience has been in the United States. Bridge, basketball, politics and chess are his special interests.

Sarah Hazen Peace Corps Brazil

Woodbury. Connecticut

Miss Hazen was born December 17, 1943 in Bogotá, Colombia.  She studied at New York University, Wood School, and the School of Visual Arts. Her work experience has been as a camp counselor, secretary and a summer of farm work. Between 1956 and 1959 she lived in Portugal and France. Art and the guitar are her special interests.  

Donald Greenberg Peace Corps Brazil

DONALD B. GREENBERG  
Woodmere, New York

Mr. Greenberg was born on June 23, 1942, in New York City. He has studied at Tufts University and Stanford University and received his B.S. in 1964 end his LLB in 1967. He has done legal work for the State Attorney General of New York. Mr. Greenberg has traveled in Europe and likes music, athletics, politics and world affairs.

Mr. Jay was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 10, 1943.   He received a B.A. from Trinity College in History of Modern Europe and an MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh to be granted in 1968. He has worked as a manager of a land development company in Spain, program assistant for Foreign Student Project, shirt salesman, and trainee in Germany, and as a sailboat mate. His travels have taken him to France, Germany, England, Spain, Italy and Portugal. His chief interests are soccer and sailing.

Brooklyn, New York

Mr. Levine was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 26, 1943. He married Wendy on March 19, 1967. In 1964 he received a B.A. in Biology from Amherst College and his LLB from Boston University School of Law in 1967. Work experiences include summer camp counselor, construction laborer and law clerk. He has traveled in Europe and along the eastern seaboard of the U.S. Special interests are athletics, reading and listening to jazz.  

WENDY R. LEVINE  
Brooklyn, New York

Mrs. Levine was born in Washington, D.C. on April 16, 1944. She married Carl on March 19, 1967. She received a B.S. from Sargent College of Boston University in 1966. Besides her professional work, occupational therapy, she has had experience as a camp counselor and crafts director and a nurse’s aide. She has traveled in Florida and Europe. Special interests are crafts and swimming.

Malvern, New York

Mr. Lipkins was born on May 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. His B.A. in Psychology was granted by the University of Vermont in 1964 and his LLB was granted by Columbia Law School in 1967. Law practice in New York City and a position as program assistant, U.S. Office of Education are his work experiences. He has traveled extensively in the U.S. and to Canada and Mexico. Music and bowling are his special interests

Mr. Mai was born in Ithaca, New York on March 23, 1945. He received a B.S. in English from Cornell University in 1967. His work experience has been varied and his travels have been in North and Central America. Sports are his special interest.

Mr. Martin was born in Winston-Salem, N. C. on July 14. 1944. He received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 1967. He has worked in drafting. His special interests are photography and drawing. Mr. Martin has traveled in Mexico and Europe.  

KATHRYN TURI MIELKE  
Solvang, California

Ms. Mielke was born in Red Wing, Minnesota on August 26, 1947. She attended Sawyer Business College, specializing in secretarial work. She has worked on a farm and in medical records. Her travel experience has been in the United States and special interests are outdoor sports and horses.  

JOHN DONALD MILLER  
Washington, D.C.

Mr. Miller was born December 4, 1942 in Washington, D.C. He received his B.A. in Economics from Washington College in 1964 and his MCRP (City and Regional Planning) in 1967. He has worked with the National Capital Planning Commission. He has traveled extensively on the East Coast of the United States.

Mr. Pack was born on May 22, 1945 in Winfield, Kansas. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas University in 1967. He has done summer farm work, has been a lab assistant, a grounds management worker, and a summer management trainee for the USAF. He has traveled in the U.S and he is interested in sports and music.

Mr. Packer was born April 17 1944 in the Bronx, New York City. He received his A.B. in Mathematics from the University of Rochester in 1965. He has worked as a computer programmer. He has traveled in Scandinavia, England, France, Italy, Holland, Israel, Russia and Canada. His hobbies and special interests include travel, the reading of philosophy and fiction, music of all types, and sports.  

MICHAEL ROBERT ROYSTER  
New York, New York

Mr. Royster was born October 17, 1942 in Washington, D.C. He received his A.B. in Politics from Princeton University in 1964 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law in 1967. He has worked as a Law clerk, encyclopedia salesman, and bookkeeper. He also worked in the Trust Department of a bank, the Auditing Department of a bank, and in a Sears, Roebuck Credit Department. He has traveled in Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. His special hobbies and interests include billiards, touch football, and spectator sports.

Miss Sportsman was born May 5, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She studied at Chaminade College of Honolulu and Los Angeles City College. She has five years of clerical experience and has done secretarial work. She has traveled in the United States.

His summer jobs include that of a waiter, gardener, law clerk, interviewer and editorial assistant. He has traveled in Italy. His hobbies and special interests are sports and the modern novel.

Mr. Tomsik was born May 18, 1943 in Sheridan, Wyoming. He received his B.F.A. degree from the University of Denver and did graduate work in Design and Business Administration at the University of Montana. He has done sales, janitorial and delivery work. Mr. Tomsik has traveled within the U.S. His hobbies and special interests include painting, art, history, architecture, and design.

Mr. Wendt was born November 5, 1942 in New York. He received his B.A. in Philosophy and his LLB from Cornell University. His work experience includes one summer as a lab assistant and three summers each as a factory worker and law clerk. He has visited Mexico and Europe and toured the U.S. His special interests include music, especially modern jazz, and photography.

WALLACE C. WINTER  
Lake Forrest, Illinois

Mr. Winter was born July 14, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. He received his B.A. in History from Yale and his LLB from the University of Virginia. He has worked as a legislative researcher, as an interviewer for the Chicago Legal Aid Society, as a Yale Summer congressional intern and as a road builder and tutor in the AFSC work camp in southern Italy. He spent hitch-hiking in Western Europe. His special interest is Journalism.  

Forrest Wyman Peace Corps Brazil

Mr. Wyman was born September 10, 1943 in Denver, Colorado. He received his B.A. in History from Stanford University and his MBA in Management from San Diego State College. He has worked as warehouse clerk, PBX operator, busboy, farm laborer and storage management assistant, computer programmer and grader of production management quizzes. He has traveled widely in the US. And briefly into Mexico. His special interests include chess, violin, banjo, guitar, judo, computer programming and game analysis by heuristic programming. He married Genevieve Francis Scotti on June 25, 1966.

Ms. Wyman was born November 11, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa. She attended Drexel Institute of Technology, where she majored in Business Administration. She has worked as a secretary and insurance underwriter. She has traveled widely in the U.S. and has visited Europe. Her special interests include homemaking, camping, hiking, folk music and travel. She married Forrest Paul Wyman on June 25, 1966.  

HENRY ZELMAN

Mr. Zelman was born September 6, 1942 in New York City. He studied at City College of New York and New York University, receiving his B.A. in Political Science in 1964 and his LLB in 1967. He has worked summers as a busboy, waiter and headwaiter. His special interests include sports, especially track, baseball and basketball, and politics and current affairs.

Ms. Ziemer was born March 13, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio. She has seven years of experience as a secretary. She has traveled widely in the United States. Her special interests include travel, piano, cooking, shorthand, music, people, horses and dancing.
