Hello to the SE group!

"The baby lady" is now retired after a 35-year career in psychology. Over the years, I have lived in Washington, DC, Virginia, California, New Mexico (twice), and now in St. Louis, MO.  In 1972, I went back to Brasil for a one year tour on the hospital ship HOPE.  I had a difficult time reconciling the excesses of the HOPE with my experience as a PCV.

I am happily retired and enjoy the time to pursue a variety of interests. Besides the arts and music (yes, I still sing), I am now a guest radio host on a weekly program aimed at another "volunteer" group - military veterans.  My topics are usually related to the medical and psychological issues vets face when they are back home again.

All in all, I have had a very interesting life. My personal mottos: Learning is life-long. Learn something new every day.
