"Here's a summary, written at the start of my 3rd year, as I remembered our two-state group: we trained for and served in both Alagoas and Ceará. I was just in Ceará and the accuracy of my memory about where people served can use some help. The list shows the states where I believe people served, however, some folks definitely moved around and, once I got to Ceará, I saw few of the folks in Alagoas. I THINK Carla Hines wound up in Rio and either Katie Neff or Linda Ramus started out in Alagoas and moved up to Ceará (they both wound up in the same Cearense city). So, this is only a beginning until someone can provide better information. The list includes only the people who completed training."

Hi there,

Embora traumatiza na época do trainamento por ser me deselecionada, entrei graduate school at Georgetown U in Portuguese. Hoje encontrei este site por isso escrevo vocês, saudades do Brasil, talvez.

Em l994 acabei voltando ao corpo do paz depois de meu marido morrer. Esta vez fui para Cabo Verde num projeto de water/san em colaboração com o UNICEF. Agora continuo como pintora e ativista comunitária. (Já fui Va Beach human rights commissioner, state certified mediator, vol emergency medical tech, Nat'l Issues Forums Convenor, Red Cross language bank interpreter and presently vol. with NGO, The Citizens'Committee to Protect the Elderly) mando abraços para todos vocês e espero que tudo corra bem.
