"When I was living in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Steve Kesse (and sometimes Dick Pozinni ) would stop by my place or I would see them in the Vitória PC office. During my last full year in ES (1970), Steve was still in ES, but Dick had returned to California and unfortunately committed suicide that year - very sad indeed.
In the early 80's, someone had met Steve in Boston where he was working for a nonprofit organization. The reason I am trying to reach Steve is because of his friendship with an elderly American who lived in Cachoeiro when I arrived there. I did not get to know this person, but Steve befriended this guy who was about 70 years old at the time and had left Ohio mysteriously in the 1950's and ended up teaching English in Cachoeiro. I am assisting someone writing a book about Americans who are living in foreign countries - and this guy's story intrigues me"
