Dim memories tell me that Groups 9, 10, 11 & 12 all arrived in Brazil at about the same time, the fall of 1964. Our Marquette group was, I think, #11. Perhaps someone out there knows. We trained from late May or early June 1964 till the end of August or there abouts. After two years in the Sertão of Paraíba, I ended up living in Brazil for 13 years, first working for USAID and then "por conta propria." Others remained behind that some of you will remember. Jim Bryon, Jim LaFleur, John Brady, Dan Dzegar (Projeto Rita), Wayne Maddalena (Bahia), and others whose names I cannot recall just now. Jim and Dan are still down there. John and Wayne came back after many years. We all married Brazilians. Returned to the US in 1977. Saw Leo Ryan in St. Pete, FL in the early 80s when he came to dinner. Have been in Atlanta since 1984. If any of you happen to be coming through, do call in advance so we can get together for a cafezinho or good micro brew. My office number is (404) 532-2017, and cell is (404) 964-4507. It would be spectacular to see some of you before our 40th anniversary in 2004, and just about everyone comes through Atlanta some time during the year, like it or not. Ciao for now. Bill Stolz
