During PC:
Worked with SAELPA in the formation of rural electric cooperatives. My
site was Natuba, in the "brejo".
Met my future wife, Helena
(Heidi) King, who was also a volunteer in Paraíba. Except for my bout
with infectious hepatitis, I had a wonderful PC experience.
After PC:
Married Heidi in 1973. Went to the Univ. of Maine at Orono and got a
degree in Forestry. We returned to Brasil in 1976 to work on the
JARI project in Pará. Have two sons
(Tim-23 & Chris-20) both born in Monte Dourado, Pará. Left Brasil in
1983.
Currently work w/ GIS for Cass
County, MN and live on beautiful Ten Mile Lake.
