"I started out as a language teacher, in 1967 and worked in about 15 training programs, in various capacities until I became Assistant Regional Director/NE and Programming & Training Officer. After that, I was invited to be the Assistant APCD for Northeast Brazil, based in Recife (1974-1976) and later on accumulated another function as the Regional Programming and Training Officer-NE Brazil." The two pictures below were taken during our grand-niece's wedding last May, right here in Saint Petersburg. The wedding gave us a good excuse for a partial family reunion, so I had my sisters flying in from London, Paris, and Rio. The beautiful mulata next to me is my daughter, Juliana. |
