Update: 6 Nov 01 "I last visited Brazil in Sept. 2001. In fact I left just before 9/11, but my wife and boy were supposed to leave ON 9/11 and had to stay there for 8 extra days." During PC: Worked for the Cooperativa Mixta de Trabalhadores Rurais de Lajedo, Ltda. Trained a leader. Built silos. Did drought relief. Helped with funding for all of above and for a co-op farm for landless farmers. After PC: Currently working for Boeing at Huntington Beach, CA. Married to Iris, of Campina Grande and Recife. Last visited Lajedo in early 90's. Coop had grown to a real farmer's business and farinha de mandioca producer. Rick Shearer
